The Challenge
Disparate measures
Fairmont executives approached GIRVIN to help them come up with a new strategy and way of thinking of group of disparate properties on the beach in Acapulco.
The Solution
Treated like royalty
Starting out with a BrandQuest® workshop with leadership and Global Hospitality Group | Goodman Investments, we worked on their two managed properties for the Fairmont Princess in Hamilton, Bermuda and Acapulco, Mexico. We created the Diamante Collection—which supported the enlargement of holistic hospitality branding for the Riviera of the Acapulco Coastline, a legacy for travelers and families from Mexico City since the early 1900s. The Princess Diamante positioning for the entire grouping of assets collectively linked them as one gigantic hospitality experience.
Our repositioning of these properties, along with providing updated branding, marketing materials, and signage, allowed the Fairmont leadership to bring up the value of these brands for better investment opportunities and heightened guest experience. The Hamilton Princess repositioning (Historic Splendor + Modern Luxury) and renewed brand supported the sale of the property in under a month.

Turtle Dunes
Leadership of the Fairmont Hotel and the guiding brand organization, GHI, approached GIRVIN for support in the creation of their golf club Turtle Dunes at the Princess Diamante resort. GIRVIN worked with GHI and the architectural planning, landscape developers, investors, and the founding teams of Fairmont to develop the brand strategy and integrated communications of the Turtle Dunes brand. We created the “LIFE WELL PLAYED” messaging, along with the designs of the brand identity components, collateral, signage applications and website.
